The short version
Virtue Voyager is an adult-facing website about values education for families. It is written for parents, grandparents, educators and adult readers — not directed to children. We collect as little as possible: right now, this site has no contact form, no newsletter, no analytics tracking, and no advertising. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children, ever.
Who we are
This website, virtuevoyager.com, is published under the pen name Virtue Voyager. You can reach us at [contact@yourdomain.com].
What we collect today
Almost nothing. There are currently no forms on this site and no analytics tools installed. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically keeps standard server logs — technical records such as IP address, browser type and visit time — for security and to keep the site running. These logs are handled by the host under its own privacy terms and are not used by us to identify visitors.
Cookies: this site sets only the essential cookies WordPress needs to function (for example, remembering the site administrator’s login). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Comments: if commenting is enabled on a post and you choose to leave one, the name, email address and comment text you submit are stored so the comment can be displayed and moderated. Please comment as yourself, the adult reader — and please don’t include children’s personal details in comments.
Children’s privacy — our firmest line
This site’s content celebrates childhood, but the site itself is for grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect, store, or request any personal information from children under 18. We run no accounts, no sign-ups for children, no contests requiring children’s details, and we never ask for children’s names, photos, schoolwork or responses to be submitted online — activities on this site are designed to be printed and enjoyed at home, where they stay. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it promptly.
When we add new features (updated before they arrive)
As the site grows, we may add: a contact form (which would store the name, email address and message you send, only so we can reply); a newsletter (which would store your email address with your consent, via a reputable email service, with an unsubscribe link in every letter); and simple analytics (aggregate, anonymised visit counts — never individual tracking). We will update this policy, including the date above, before any of these goes live.
Embedded content
Posts may occasionally embed content from other websites (for example, a video). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or trade any information. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not profile visitors. We do not collect children’s data.
Your choices and rights
If you have shared any personal information with us (for example, in a comment) and would like it corrected or deleted, email us and we will act on it promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law; we will honour reasonable requests regardless of geography.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will update it here and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted plainly..
